CORPORATE CHALLENGE WINNERS – TECHCOMBANK HO CHI MINH CITY INTERNATIONAL MARATHON
Participants in the 10km, half (21.1km) and full (42.195km) marathon started at the historic Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden, running through iconic local landmarks such as the Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Saigon Opera House and Ho Chi Minh City Hall. The race course crossed six districts on its way to the finish at the riverfront of Empire City in Thu Thiem, where finishers were treated to stunning views of the Ho Chi Minh skyline.
Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon is excited to announce and congratulate the winners of this year’s Corporate Challenge in its three divisions:
* Distance: total km finished by the employees in the corporate. Corporate with the most km will win.
** Time: average pace of all the finishers in the corporate. Corporate with the fastest average pace will win.
The winning companies in each of the three divisions will be presented with Two perpetual trophies for ‘Distance’ and ‘Time’, to be kept with the companies for 12 months before being passed to the winners of the 2019 event, in addition they will also receive an allocation of complimentary entries into the 2019 Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon.

Co-organized with Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, Department of Culture and Sports Ho Chi Minh and the Athletics Federation of Vietnam, the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon is a pivotal event in creating awareness and supporting the athletic, health and wellness movement taking place in our city. At the same time, the event succeeds at growing and deepening community ties, and reaffirming Ho Chi Minh City’s position as a great city in which to live, work and play.
As a further contribution to our community, the marathon worked closely with our charity partners, The Ho Chi Minh City Fund for the Poor, The Fund for Sport Talents of Ho Chi Minh City and Newborns Vietnam. This year, 1,206,490,000 dong (doubled from 608,000,000 dong in 2017) was raised and proudly donated to Ho Chi Minh City’s Fund for the Poverty and Sports Sponsorship Fund of Ho Chi Minh City by Techcombank. Simultaneously, Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon also donated 70 million to Newborns Vietnam.
